Dear Editor,
Two of our girls have created history. Girls, as a gender, are terribly marginalised, right from their birth. The very first cry and a nurse comes shouting “boy”, or in a muted voice, “It is a girl”. Let us admit, women are far better than us. If we can’t win a medal, it is fine, but we have no right to tease or upset a Sakshi or a Sindu in making, in our streets. I salute the women of India. Bravo!
