POONCH: A married woman with her six years old son was kidnapped by a group of six persons of the same village in district Poonch.
A 26 years old married woman identified as Ifret Sadeeq wife of Mohd Zobair resident of Chandak alongwith her son Namanbeen Hussain (6) resident of village Chandak, district Poonch was kidnapped by Manzer Manhas, Rashid Manhas both sons of Mohd Shafi, Mohd Shafi son of Ghulam Mohd, Reshma Bi wife of Mohd Safi and Rehmat Jan daughter of Ghulam Mohd all residents of village Chandak, district Poonch. Family members of the kidnapped woman lodged a complaint in Police Station Poonch that the woman was kidnapped with 6 Tolas of gold and a cash of Rs 1 lakh.
An FIR 44/2016 under section 366, 109 RPC was registered in Police Station Poonch against all the five persons including two females for investigation. The police assured that a team will be constituted and the kidnapped woman and her son will be restored to the family soon.
