SRINAGAR: Director School Education Kashmir, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, on Wednesday said that winter camps for elementary classes of 3rd to 7th standard shall start from 18th January, 2017.
The classes will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily from Saturday to Thursday every week and every zone shall have two winter camps at Elementary/ High School level with best infra-structure available. DSEK said that students from both government as well as private schools of class 3rd to grade 7th can attend the camps.
He said concerned ZEOs and CEOs have been asked to make all the necessary heating arrangements to facilitate the students.
Giving details, it was said that winter camps shall have one hour daily class for Math, English, EVS and Social Science, and another one hour session would be for co-curricular activities like Poetry, Painting, Story-telling, Crafts, Theater and Educational movies.
