JAMMU: Claiming that the party’s Mission 44+ is gaining popularity across the State and now becoming choice and voice of the common masses, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan said that the wide acceptance of BJP’s mission is frustrating NC and Congress because of which their leaders are once again misleading the people by making false statements.
Balbir, in a press statement issued here on Sunday, said, “Jammu and Kashmir, like other parts of the country, has also been affected by Narendra Modi wave. The people first ensured victory of BJP in Lok Sabha elections, then the caravan continued with same enthusiasm and zeal for change, resulting into the victory of BJP in one after the other states, which depicts the overwhelming acceptance of BJP by the voters”.
“The BJP is going to repeat the same and history will be created in Jammu and Kashmir after the ensuing polls”, he said and added, ‘Mission 44+ will be achieved comfortably’.
Balbir further said, “BJP is going to the people with clear agenda of forming clean, people–friendly and efficient government in the State and the public response to our call has now frustrated the NC, Congress leadership”.
Elaborating this, he said, “BJP’s plank of development, good governance, corruption free government, ending dynastic rule and discrimination, concern for refugees, internally displaced community, border people, farmers and weaker sections have made the people to realise that the BJP is need of the hour and want to bring it to power. NC and Congress should see the writing on wall and act like responsible political parties instead of making irrelevant and misleading statements in frustration”.
Balbir also said, “The leaders of NC and Congress, who had been ministers in the coalition, have nothing to boast and now they are facing embarrassment during election campaign and are thus making attempts to divert the attention from the public queries about their performances as ministers”.
The people have themselves seen the six years coalition rule of NC and Congress and have made up their mind to teach these parties a lesson now, he added.
Balbir expressed hope that good sense will prevail and the NC, Congress ministers and leaders would rise to the occasion to accept the ground realities rather than daydreaming of returning to power by indulging in the politics of falsehood and rhetoric.
