Wattal inaugurates Vishram Garh at Hari Market

JAMMU: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Kiran Wattal on Thursday inaugurated tourists shed ‘Vatika’ (Vishram Grah) here at Hari Maraket in presence of prominent citizens of people of the state.
Among those who graced the occasion include Kapil Sharma, Joint Commissioner, Rakesh Gupta, President Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Deepak Agarwal, Vice President CCI, Rajesh Raina, President Hari Market, Ravi Gupta, President Lower Hari Market, Ashwani, Chairman Upper Gumat Bazar Association, Anil Gupta, President Lower Raghunath Bazar, Rajesh Dewan Acting President, Upper Hari Market, Ajay Sharma, President Karan Market, Sunil Sharma, President Residency Road, Pt. Durga Dass and Vikas Dewan.
Commissioner, JMC in his address said that it was the long pending demand of the tourists, who were not having such kind of facilities in this area, where they can rest after having the Darshan of Maa Vaishnoo Devi and Raghunath Temple.
The Vatika has been constructed at the cost of Rs.19 lakhs which include works like pavement tiling, upgrading of brace wall/retaining wall on road side, developing subsidiary park along with green pots, besides the basic framework painting/polishing work.
Commissioner, JMC remarked that, it is the prime responsibility of the local traders to keep this area neat and clean.
The electrification of the area was also modified by providing additional five street lights to provide more illumination to the area. The passersby also felt delighted for the beautiful structure constructed by JMC.
