Dear Editor,
Responsibility for the suicide bomber blast on the Pakistani side of the Attari-Wagah check post has been taken by many militant groups, including one close to the Pakistani Taliban, which said that the attack was in response to the Pakistani Army’s actions in the tribal areas.
In the past, Pakistan used terror as an instrument of state policy for achieving political objectives in Afghanistan and India. It patronised the Taliban and other Jihadi outfits like the Lashkar-e-Tayyeba and the Hizbul Mujahideen, which bled Afghanistan and India. Now, these groups having turned into a Frankenstein’s monster. They are bleeding Pakistan and the common man in that country is paying a heavy price for the dirty business that the Pakistan Government and Army did with the devils. The Wagah border blast must convince the Pakistani establishment to wage a decisive war against terrorists.
