Dear Editor,
Caste, creed, fear, etc. are the known factors that don’t let many of us vote judiciously. Another factor that makes us falter at the most crucial moment is the hesitation to vote for a deserving candidate, simply because we doubt his
victory. This way, we end up discouraging the entry of genuine people in politics while bolstering the self-belief of undeserving candidates by enhancing their winning margins. Beyond victory or defeat, our vote should, more importantly, be a true expression of our opinion of the candidates in the fray in doubtful cases we should use NOTA Option.
Kaka Ram,
Dayala Chak.
