JAMMU: Volleyball Association of J and K has proposed to conduct open trials in junior categories of boys and girls for the upcoming 43rd Junior National Championship to be held at Ernakulam in Kerala from 19th to 25th April.
The trial shall be conducted at MA Stadium volleyball courts from 21st to 23rd March from 3:00 PM onwards. All the affiliated units, educational institutions and district association have been advised to send their eligible outstanding boys and girls for the selection process, a handout issued by the association here on Monday said.
Players born on or after 1st January, 1999 will only be eligible to participate in the trials. The interested players should bring along original Date of Birth Certificate with photographs affixed issued by the head of the education institution or medical certificate issued by the hospital approved by the Government of India (District Hospital, Udhampur) or Municipality Certificate or Municipal Corporation certificate.
After the trials, the coaching camp shall take place from 27th March to 15th April at MA Stadium.
