LEH: The maiden District Volleyball Championship, organised by District Association Leh under the aegis of Volleyball Association of J and K, began at Indoor Stadium, here on Thursday.
Six women teams are taking part in this competition. Earlier, the competition was inaugurated by District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Leh, Tsering Tashi.
The Results: Wamda Sporting Club beat Sweet Angels 2-0; Sakti Club defeated Women Volleyball Club 2-0; Girls Higher Secondary School trounced Women Volleyball Club 2-0; Sakti Club blanked Girls Higher Secondary School 2-0.
