Announces Digital Poster-Making & Short Film Competition

JAMMU: Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Jammu Kashmir organised “Creators’ Summit 2025” on Saturday at the Convention Hall, The Business School, University of Jammu. The summit brought together content creators, students and social-media influencers for deliberations on responsible content creation and positive social messaging.

The programme formally commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and the Keynote Speaker.
The dignitaries present included Kuldeep Khoda (Former Director General of Police, J&K Police) as Chief Guest, Dr. Ankur Gupta (Director, MIET) as Guest of Honour, and Narendra Thakur (Akhil Bhartiya Seh Prachaar Pramukh, Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh) as the Keynote Speaker.
The programme began with a floral offering to Bharat Mata. This was followed by the Welcome Address by Rajeev Nargotra. In his address Chief Guest Kuldeep Khoda spoke on the importance of civic responsibility and social discipline, especially in the context of contemporary information ecosystems and public life.
The Keynote Address was delivered by Narendra Thakur focusing on 100th anniversary of RSS, life and vision of RSS founder Dr K.B. Hedgewar, Five social transformations, constructive communication, value-based engagement, and the role of creators in strengthening national cohesion through positive narratives.
Thereafter, Guest of Honour Dr. Ankur Gupta addressed the gathering and emphasised the need to channel creativity into socially meaningful work, particularly among young creators and students. A key highlight of the summit was the formal announcement of a Digital Poster-Making and Short Film (Reel) Competition, introduced by Dr. Jai Bhawani Singh. The competition was announced around the broad theme of five transformative social changes, with entries invited on one or more of the following topics: Social Harmony, Civic Duty, Family Values, Self-Reliance, and Environment Protection. Participants were informed that content must be original; reels may be up to 180 seconds (3 minutes); posters should be of Instagram post size; and entries may be submitted in Hindi, English, or local language. As shared in the competition announcement material, registrations are open till 15 January 2026, submissions will be accepted till 31 January 2026, and results will be declared on 22 February 2026. Attractive prizes were also announced for both Reel and Poster categories.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Satya Dev followed by recitation of Vande Mataram.
