JAMMU: A Vishal Bhandara would be held at the Pracheen and most revered Bhairav Temple at Upper Bazaar, Chowk Chabutra, here on 15th November, 2014.
Talking to media, temple Priest Rumil Sharma said Lord Bhairav is in the form of a natural Pindi in the temple.
“Thousands of people come here every year to seek the blessing of the Almighty and get rid of the evil effects of bad things”, he added.
The Priest said like every year, a Bhandara would be held at the temple on 15th November, a day after the Kaal Bhairav Ashtami.
He invited the people to take part in the Bhandara and have Darshans of the Pindi of Lord Bhairav.
Priest Rumil said Lord Shiva has attained the form Lord Bhairav to free the earth of the evil forces and their bad effects.
“The desires get fulfilled and evils vanish permanently here,” he added.
The temple remained unattended for several years and the Pooja was started hereby Rumil over a decade and a halfback.
He said Pooja and Havan would be performed at the temple on Kaal Bhairav Ashtami on 14th November and Bhandara on 15th November, 2014.
He requested the businessmen and traders of Jammu markets to attend the Bhandara on 15th November and to decorate their market on the eve of Kaal Bhairav Ashtami.
Rumil said the bad effects of Shani and Rahu also get nullified by offering prayers at the Bhairav Temple.
He said a special stall for children would also be erected in the Bhandara.
