Villagers protest against non-availability of doctor in PHC

NOWSHERA: Primary Health Centre (PHC) Seri which is looking after 10,000 border people of villages Seri, Mangla Devi A and B, Deeng, Mangiote and adjoining area, is without the required number of doctors and the patients have to travel more than 18 kilometers to reach Nowshera for treatment.
Sarpanch Seri Balwant Raj Choudhary, Panch Suresh Kumar, Panch Kewal Krishan, Rajinder Sharma, Dharampal and Rekha Kapoor urged to the Director Health and the SDM Nowshera to immediately post a doctor in PHC Seri so that the poor people receive timely treatment in the local PHC.
The villagers said that if their deficiency is not made good immediately, they will come on road.
