Vijay Gupta, only Editor from J&K accompanied PM Narendra Modi during Europe visit

JAMMU: Son of the soil, Vijay Gupta, Editor-in-Chief, Young Bites, an English daily publishing from Jammu and Kashmir, was the only journalist from the Union Territory, selected to accompany Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his 3-day Europe visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Berlin on Monday, May 2, as a part of his three-nation European tour. He visited Denmark and then France. The focus of the visit was to boost ties in the areas of trade, energy and green technology.
Vijay Gupta, Editor-in- Chief ,Yopung Bites said, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s team was extended a warm welcome by a jubilant Indian diaspora in Berlin and Copenhagen.
Vijay Gupta reported exclusively from all the European countries. “When asked how Indian people feel about Prime Minister’s tour, a NRI settled in Berlin Anand Deshpandey while talking to Vijay Gupta said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit is like a dream come true for us in Germany,” said Gupta, adding that he felt elated to work with Prime Minister closely during this Europe trip.
Vijay Gupta has earlier also travelled to foreign countries with the Prime Minister a number of times.
“In Paris, PM Modi held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, who was re-elected to the top post. In Berlin, the Prime Minister had bilateral talks with Olaf Scholz, Federal Chancellor of Germany, and the two leaders co-chaired the sixth edition of the India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC),” Vijay Gupta, Editor-in-Chief Young Bites said, adding “Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, S Jaishankar, Dr Jitendra Singh and R K Singh were also a part of the official delegation accompanying Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit to Germany.”
