JAMMU: Superpositivity Movement founder Vickrant Mahajan created a softball Guinness World Record at Model Academy, here on Thursday.
In one hour, he performed 545 softball hits, bettering the previous Guinness World Record of 502 hits in one hour. According to rules, Vickrant had to stand 33 ft from the thrower and in order for hits to be legitimate, the ball had to go flying through a net without bouncing on the ground.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Adit Gupta said, “At Model Academy, we are always on the lookout to support new and creative ventures, and by now Vickrant has become synonymous with creativity, considering he has performed Guinness World Record attempts in 20 different disciplines. That’s why we are always happy to collaborate with him in his mission of superpositivity.”
Five expert softball throwers were used for the attempt, and the balls were specially manufactured by Gaurav Singla of AG Exports Jalandhar.
