Vice President releases Bhim‘s book ‘Unbelievable—Delhi to Islamabad’

NEW DELHI: Vice President of India, Mohammed Hamid Ansari released a book ‘Unbelievable—Delhi to Islamabad’ authored by Prof Bhim Singh, on his recent visit to Pakistan on the invitation of Lahore Congress of Lawyers.

While releasing this historic book, Ansari described Bhim Singh as a rare person among the 1.23 billion Indians. He said that Bhim is a brave crusader for peace from Palestine to Pakistan. His book is unique attempt to introduce the real side of the people of Pakistan. The book deserves special attention of all thinkers, the politicians and the students, he added.

Prof (Dr) Amitabh Mattoo, was the Guest of Honour, who described Bhim as the Che Guevara among the youth, a thinker and erudite scholar, statesman and globally emancipated whose life story itself is ‘unbelievable’. He mentioned that Jammu Dogra Pahari State is Bhim Singh’s positive mission to integrate J and K with the rest of the country.

The Publisher Narender Goswami, of Har Anand Publication, described Bhim as one among the most revolutionary and original writer and daring author of the times.

Among distinguished persons present were former Union Home Secretary and In-charge J and K Affairs, Padamana Bhaiya, former Chairman Minority Commission, Wajahat Habibulla, Chairman ICWA Harcharan Singh Josh, Ambassador of Egypt, Palestine, Bangladesh Jordan and several other countries, JKNPP President, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Subhash Goyal, President IATO, Prof. Chander Mohan, Uma Vasudev, Usha Malhotra, former MP and Uma Sharma, Senior artist.

Nasreen Hamid, journalist conducted the proceedings of the function.
