JAMMU: Vijay Kumar Magotra, General Secretary Volleyball Association of J&K has been nominated as technical official of 36th National Beach Volleyball Championship commencing at Surat, Gujarat from October 6 to 9, 2022 by Volleyball Federation of India.
Magotra, who is also a member of the Disciplinary Committee constituted by VFI, has represented JKUT in Khelo India events in various capacities at Pune and Guwahati besides various national volleyball championships organized at Puducherry, Kerala and Orissa in the country in recent past. Vijay Magotra has left for Surat today.
Meanwhile, on the basis of his vast experience at national/international levels of volleyball, Kuldip Magotra, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Volleyball Association of J&K and Associate Secretary VFI, has been nominated a member of Control Committee of 36th National Games Volleyball Championship commencing at Bhavnagar, Gujarat from October 8 to 12, 2022.
An awardee of Sher-e-Kashmir Sports, Kuldeep Magotra has been honoured by various social and sports bodies for his excellence contribution in the field of sports in general and volleyball in particular.
Ramesh Sharma, Treasurer Volleyball Association of J&K has also been nominated as Technical official of 36th National Games volleyball Championship by Volleyball Federation of India.
Sharma, a volleyball coach who got training from Germany, has represented India in various championships as a coach/official.
An awardee of Sher-e-Kashmir Sports, Sharma’s hardwork and services in volleyball are well recognized by sports lovers in the country. Sharma is also a Convenor of the Technical Committee of Volleyball Federation of India.
Kuldeep Magotra and Ramesh Sharma are leaving Jammu for Bhavnagar, Gujarat on October 5, 2022.
