JAMMU: Nothing is impossible is one quote which has just been proved by a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) CID, Tejinder Singh, who won two gold medals in the ongoing two-day Veteran State Athletics Championship being organised by the Veteran (Masters) Athletes Association of Jammu and Kashmir at MA Stadium, here on Monday.
Tajinder Singh won one gold medal each in 200 meter by completing in 26.4 seconds and in long jump in under 35-40 years category. Around 50 athletes in different age groups starting from 35 years and above are taking part in field and track events.
A good number of such athletes have
come from Kashmir and other districts
of Jammu Province.
The finals and valedictory function of this championship shall take place tomorrow at the same venue.
