KATHUA: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of S. Charanjeet Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal in the office chamber of SDM Ghagwal to review the progress relating to damages occurred due to heavy rain.
During the course of meeting discussions were held and sector wise progress were reviewed. Directions were issued to the field functionaries that damages due to flood viz house , crops, loss of live stock has be to assessed in a time bound manner. Joint team comprising of AEOs, Naib Tehsildar, Patwari shall visit the affected areas and submit the papers along with supportive photographs and prepare the cases with the consultation of Sarpanch, Panch and Nambardar of the respective areas.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director (Planning) CPO Office Samba, Block Development Officer Ghagwal, Block Development Officer Rajpura, Naib Tehsildar Ghagwal, Naib Tehsildar Rajpura, Naib Tehsildar Surrara and Agriculture Extension Officer Ghagwal/Rajpura.
