JAMMU: Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust hailed the decision of Supreme Court and the efforts made by the Central Government in preserving and promoting cultural heritage and the Sanskrit language.
The trust on Friday organised a debate for the uplift of Sanskrit language and its promotion among the young generation of India.
“Various Hindu and Muslim groups together joined hands in the promotion of Sanskrit language. The decision of Central Government to make Sanskrit as compulsory third language in all KV schools has helped about 500 schools and approximately 7,000 students”, said a representative of the trust.
The Trust President, Mahant Rohit Shastri, Nazir Kotia, Mohammad Aslam, Chander Mouli Raina, Pt. Shakti Dutt, Rajat Soodan, K.K Sharma, Vicky Soodan and other Sanskrit scholars were present.
