Various organisations pay homage to Mufti Mohammad Sayeed

Jammu: Devasthan Prabandhak Committee, Tehsil Bijbehara held a condolence meeting to mourn sad demise of Mufti Mohd. Sayeed- Chief Minister, J&K State.
A large number of members of Pandit Community of Tehsil Bijbehara attended the condolence meeting . The meering was presided over by Prof. Makhan Lai Malla. The Speakers expressed shock and grief over the passing awa|y of a visio, nary leader whose presence at this juncture was very essential for the solution of the problem of the Displaced Pandits and easing of tension between India and Pakistan.
A condolence meeting was held in the SKIMS Medical College Bemina on Saturday on the demise of Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, Chief Minister, J&K State.
Dr Rashid HOD Pathology spoke about various qualities of this great leader. Director /Principal (Prof Showkat Ali Zargar) SKIMS medical college spoke about the great works the noble leader pursued for upliftment of the health sector in state. As a chairman Governing Body, SKIMS he ensured that this place and the parent SKIMS institute develop fully. A two minute silence was observed in honour of the departed soul. May almighty give peace to his noble soul and fortitude to the deceased family to bear the irreparable loss.
KPSS expressed condolences over the demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. KPSS feel that the demise of this political stalwart has created a void. He was the only person, who personally tried to mitigate the issued related to the left out Kashmiri Pandits.
KPSS is holding special prayers at Ganpatyar, Srinagar on 10.01.2015 at 11:00 AM for the peace of departed soul.
A condolence meeting was today held at District Hospital Doda which was chaired by Supervisory Pharmacist Amjad Ali Shokeen in which all the staff of District Hospital have expressed their grief and sorrow over the demise of PDP Patron and Chief Minister J&K Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who passed away in AIIMS New Delhi. In the condolence meeting, the members said that the Jammu and Kashmir State has lost a visionary leader who remained committed and devoted towards the welfare of State throughout his long political career. During the meeting, all the participants prayed to Almighty Allah to rest peace to the departed soul besides expressed solidarity with Mehbooba Mufti, Tasaduq Mufti, MLA Dhoru Syed Farooq Indrabi who is Co Brother of Mufti Syed and other family members and termed the death of Mufti Sayeed as irreparable loss.
Meanwhile District President NHM Paramedical and Management Association Faizan Ali Tramboo has also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and described his death as a great loss not only for the state but whole nation.
Kuldeep Kumar Rao, a member of the Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice has said that every liberal person has been shocked by the untimely death of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohd Sayeed. He was the first politician in the state who by forming an alliance with BJP, showed that he wanted to abolish religion base politics thus paving way for equitable development of all three regions of the state and for entry of efficient people in governance. We expect that the next Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, PDP, President will follow the footsteps of her farsighted father and fulfill his dreams so that the poor people of all the regions get rid of religion base politics.
School Education Employees Coordination Committee Jammu Province convened a special meeting under the chairmanship of Narinder Singh Jamwal President and Ganesh Khajuria Provincial President and Dinesh Gupta General Secretary to condole the sad and untimely demise of Mufti Mohd Sayeed Chief Minister, great states man and visionary leader with immense inspiration and strong commitment.
Narinder Singh Jamwal described late Mufti Mohd Sayeed as a thinking and seasoned politician who relentlessly strived for the development of J&K State and was a leader of the voiceless Ganesh Khajuria also condoled the sad demise of Mufti Mohd Sayeed and remembered his qualities of head and heart, warmth and concern for others without any distinction of caste, creed and colour. A two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect towards the departed soul. Expressing heartfelt solidarity with the bereaved family all prayed for eternal peace to departed soul. Those SEECC members attended the condolence meting includes Rajinder Gupta, Anil Sharma, Bharat Bhushan Kotwal, Charan Dass, Tarsem Singh, Gopal Singh, Deepak Sharma, Darshan Sharma, Kuldeep Verma and others.
A condolence meeting of JKTDC Employees Union was held under the Presidentship of S. Dalbir Singh, where the employees expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sad demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who was also Minister of Tourism. Two minutes silence was observed by the Union bearers and Union paid rich and glowing tributes to the departed leader and prayed to almighty to rest the departed soul in “Janet ul Firdous” and give courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
President J&K People’s Welfare Foundation (JKPWF) Shamim Ahmed Khan has convened a condolence meeting of executive members this morning to mourn the said demise of late mufti Mohammad Sayeed. He said untimely death of Mufti Sahib is an irreparable loss to the state when the state was reeling through critical time. He termed Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as visionary political and a man of very high stature who devoted his whole life for the service of poor people of the state. The meeting prayed for the eternal peace of departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. Two minutes silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
J&K Milchar Front held condolence meet under the president ship of S.N. Saproo to mourn the sad demise of the Chief Minister of the State, Mufti Mohd Sayeed, a visionary, seasoned politician. In meeting, the members of the Front paid rich Tributes to the departed soul and prayed for the peace of the departed soul. S.N. Saproo, President of the Front while addressing expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad & untimely demise of the departed soul and prayed to almighty to grant external peace to the departed soul & give courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss & expressed their sympathy with bereaved family.
A condolence meeting was held by Mohd. Din Banday Memorial Society (MDBMS) in which the participants paid homage to Mufti Mohd. Sayed. The speakers described him as a visionary politician whose death has left a vacuum in the politics of Jammu and Kashmir. They described him as a real statesman and a secular leader. The participants in the end performed ‘Dua’ for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Members of JK Colony Welfare Committee, Paloura under its General Secretary R.K Sharma, while expressing heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family and Mufti Sahib’s supporters, have conveyed their solidarity to them in this hour of mourning and loss. All present prayed to the Almighty God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
