JAMMU: Former Cabinet Minister and MLC, M.K Ajatshatru Singh discussed various developmental issues with different delegations that called upon him here on Tuesday.
A delegation comprising prominent people from various Panchayats of Mathwar Block met Ajatshatru Singh and highlighted issues pertaining to their respective Panchayats.
People hailing from different villages demanded better water supply, road connectivity, and power in their respective areas and requested Ajatshatru Singh to instruct authorities to speed-up the developmental works at the earliest. He assured the delegation that he will leave no stone unturned to alleviate their deplorable living condition and will strive for bringing as many development projects for them as possible.
Another delegation from Kanna Chargal Upper, Kanna Chargal Lower, Athem, Sidhra and Surinsar Panchayats called upon the Legislator. Sarpanch Kirpal Singh, Sultan, and Faqir Singh apprised him of the pace of developmental works in their respective areas.
Ajatshatru Singh while interacting with the people assured them of all possible help and implored upon them to educate masses about different government schemes meant for the rural areas so that the poorest of the poor gets benefited by these schemes.
