JAMMU: The Volleyball Association of J&K has felicitated Satish Sharma on assuming the charge of Youth services and Sports Minister of JKUT. In a press statement Sidarth Daluja President of VAJK congratulated the youngest and highly qualified Sharma as Cabinet Minister of Food, civil supplies and consumer affairs, transport, Science and technology, Youth Services and sports of JKUT.
The office bearers of Volleyball Association of J&K has extended heartfelt wishes to Sharma on his maiden appointment as Minister in Omar Abdullah’s Cabinet and expressed confidence on his dynamic leadership and vision for overall development of youth in nation building and inculcating sports culture among youth to shun the menace of Drug abuse from JKUT and to promote the concept of My Youth My Pride, Fit India etc.
Highly qualified and associated with political family as son of late Madan Lal Sharma former minister of erstwhile J&K state and former member of Parliament, Satish Sharma would leave no stone unturned in discharging his duties efficiently and advocating the cause of youth for their overall betterment in JKUT. On behalf of the Association Kuldip Magotra CEO and Ramesh Sharma Treasurer of the VAJK presented bouquet to Sh. Satish Sharma as a gesture of a rousing welcome on his arrival at Jammu on Sunday.
The office bearers of the Association are confident that Satish Sharma would focus on promotion of sports for tribals, Youth of border and sensitive pockets of JKUT to bring them in the mainstream in near future.
