DODA: Uttar Pradesh Eleven registers a comfortable 10-wicket win over Maharashtra Eleven in a low scoring league match of the ongoing All India Eleventh Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015, organized Young Star Cricket Club Doda at Sports Stadium Doda, here on Saturday.
The tournament is being sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank, Natnoo Furnishing House Doda and Green Model Higher Secondary School Doda.
Earlier, Batting first, Maharashtra Eleven lost their all wickets for the meager total of 70 runs in 11.5 overs. Suraj Patil (17) and Akash Sagar (16) runs were the top scorers. For Uttar Pradesh Eleven, Mahaveer scalped three wickets while Himanshu and Mohd Aqif shared two each.
In reply, Uttar Pradesh Eleven easily chase the target in just 6.5 overs without any loss of wicket. Atul Gaharwal played an inning of 44 runs while Himanshu added 10 runs to the total.
Atul was declared as Man of the Match for his match winning knock and received award from Chief Guest, Advocate Asim Hashmi, Bar Association President in the presence of General Secretary YSCC Doda, Advocate Ahtsham Hussain Batt.
The match was officiated by Sanjay Chouhan and Ayush Sharma as Umpires while Salinder Singh Bhaduria acted as Scorer.
