I, Kamla Rani, a senior citizen residing at House No 111, Sector 1, Sharika Vihar Lower Roop Nagar, Muthi, Jammu. I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing issue regarding the lack of water supply despite having paid for a new connection in advance. It has been 15 days since I applied for the water connection and made the necessary payment. Unfortunately, there has been no water supply to my residence during this period. Despite our efforts, including contacting the area Inspector, our situation remains unresolved. In fact, his responses have been unsatisfactory and occasionally disrespectful.
This ordeal raises serious concerns about the efficiency and fairness of the water supply service. It is disheartening that while we, as law-abiding citizens, fulfill all formalities and payments promptly, we are left without the basic necessity of water. It seems those seeking illegal connections receive better treatment than law-abiding citizens like myself.
I urge you to intervene and resolve this matter promptly. As a senior citizen, the absence of water poses significant challenges, especially during the summer months. I request your immediate action to instruct Inspector of the area to ensure regular water supply to my residence without further delay.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and hope for a swift resolution.
