Unrest in BJP?

First time when Ram Madhav came to Jammu and Kashmir after the 2014 Parliamentary elections was to patch up a formula for government formation with People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as coalition partner. The government formation took some time with confidence building and gaining exercise continuing. And after some hard bargains government came into existence in the state and Bharatiya Janata Party for the first time came in majority from one seat to eleven and sat in the government partnering PDP. It’s almost two years it looks there is some resentment brewing in the saffron party in Jammu region which came into surface during Ram Madhav’s interaction with party cadre on Tuesday. The working and performance of the party ministers were always under scanner. With most of the party workers sidelined by these ministers and some of the recent incidents like of ‘cash transporting’ and some of them amassing unproportionate wealth have cast some shadow over the future existence. It may be too early to speculate a ministerial change but circumstances point towards some reshuffle of the ministry in the coming days. If it takes place resentment within the party cadre and neglect along with the desire to have more wealth are to be blamed.  Why otherwise party office bearers, senior leaders and Morcha presidents took the opportunity of interacting with the National General Secretary Ram Madhav to register their growing anger against neglect by party ministers as they have not been acknowledging their role in consolidating the party machinery at the grass roots level. The situation has created a ‘confidence deficiency’ overall. If the central leadership is to be believed the goal of the present NDA government is not to enjoy power but to ensure country’s dignified place at the international level. Whereas here in Jammu and Kashmir it is the opposite of the national philosophy and hardly there is any effort to empower the common masses, providing the essential facilities to the people. The central leadership has been keeping a close watch on the developments taking place in Jammu and Kashmir especially after the midnight ‘cash transfer’ controversy. Well it looks all is not well in the state BJP  apparatus and if any change takes place it  is the state party leaders and workers are to blamed.
