Union Govt must answer nation on Pak’s misadventures: Harsh

STATE TIMES NEWS
NEW DELHI: Dubbing Pakistan as a threat to the peace in South Asian region, a strong contingent of Panthers party activists staged a massive demonstration spearheaded by Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and Yash Paul Kundal State President Young Panthers against persistent Pak misadventures in J and K, near Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Addressing the media, Harsh lambasted Pakistan for its malicious and mischievous designs in sponsoring militant attacks on defence bases in J and K, fierce mortar shelling along the IB and LoC and
aiding secessionists in Kashmir besides abetting terror attacks all over the country.
He further accused Pakistan for pushing militants into our territory to vitiate peace and harmony of the State and the Country. Mr. Singh said that Pakistan’s notoriety had now assumed alarming proportions as PM Nawaz Sharif earlier without any fear announced to continue its support to secessionists and other disruptive forces in Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan had not been mending ways as it had resorted to attack civilians living in the border hamlets despite several repeated warnings at appropriate forums. He also held the rogue country responsible for mayhem in Kashmir which had left more than 90 people killed, thousands of people including security personnel injured, and over 45 schools torched.
Recalling a militant attack at Poonch two months ago which was foiled by a joint operation conducted by Army, Police and CRPF at Alla Pir area, he revealed that a huge quantity of Pak sponsored arms, ammunition and explosive material had been recovered during the search operations all along LoC which proved that Pakistan was hell bent to vitiate peace in Jammu region as well. He wondered that how could Union Government remain silent amid back to back Pak misadventures on Indian soil and persistent rabble rousing by the clerics like Hafiz Sayeed, Sayeed Salahuddin and Moulana Masood Azhar against India which had only unveiled Pakistan being a terror exporting state. He asserted that GoI must answer to the Nation on the terror trail of Pakistan vis- a- vis J&K.
Ridiculing the BJP over its muscle flexing while in opposition, he questioned the Saffron Party that where had its jingoism of beheading ten heads of the enemy in lieu of each martyred Indian Jawan vanished while confronting the crisis created by Pakistan’s misadventures.
He said that JKNPP was constrained to lodge a protest as the BJP led NDA Government despite its tall rhetoric had meekly relinquished its responsibility of questioning the hostile nation over its violent posturing in an appropriate manner. Cautioning the rogue state to desist from playing blood bath, he exhorted the International community to take serious cognizance of Pak’s terror attack antecedents on Indian defence personnel.
He urged the UN to impose sanctions on Pakistan and ostracize the rogue nation by declaring it as a “Terrorist State” without any delay.
Kundal, while accusing Pakistan for fomenting trouble in the State and the Country, said that it had created dozens of terror groups in the name of ‘Jehad’ including JeM who were resorting to violence and terror attacks.
Prominent among those who led the protest included Paramjeet Singh Marshall, Gagan Pratap Singh, Shyam Gorkha, Parshotam Parihar, Balbir Singh, Arun Khajuria, Mohinder Singh, Sudarshan Rana, Nitin and Udheyveer.
