SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, J and K Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED) has said that the Department putting its untiring efforts and working round the clock has restored STP Brari-Numbal along with all its pumping units on war footing basis and dewatered the areas including Khanyar, Munawarabad, Khayam, Babademb, Naqashpora ,Periphery areas of Brari-Numbal lagoon, Bishmbernager and Kalooipora.
The Chief Engineer further stated that the department has also restored Khanyar Dewatering station on emergency basis. He said the Department has also taken extensive cleaning operations of choked drains, sump wells and restoring all electro / Mechanical equipments and dewatered the areas of Gousia Hospital, Dastagir Sahib Shrine, Sheraz Chowk, Akhil Mir and Shesgari Mohalla.
