ISLAMABAD: Pakistan army on Tuesday killed five Taliban militants, who were plotting attacks on educational institutions and judicial complexes, during an operation that also left two soldiers dead in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.
Two army personnel and five terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire during an intelligence-based operation against militants in Malikabad area of Swabi district in the restive province, the army said in a statement. The five terrorists were planning to target educational institutions and judicial complexes, it said.
