Two receive burn injuries, One dies

UDHAMPUR: In an incident, a housewife received serious burn injuries while she was engaged in kitchen at her residence in Udhampur.
According to a report, a housewife identified as Neelam Kumari wife of Vinod Kumar resident of village Chak in Udhampur received burn injures while cooking in kitchen in her rented house. Sources disclosed that victim got injured due bursting of kerosene oil stove.
Family member immediately shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur where she is recovering. Udhampur police has registered a case and launched the investigation.
Meanwhile, a middle aged man identified as Tara Chand (51) son of Prem Chand resident of village Battal Ballian, Udhampur suffered burn injuries and was found dead by his family members late in the night on Thursday. The man was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where he was declared by the doctors as brought dead. The Udhampur Police after completing all the legal formalities, handed over the body to his family members. The police have registered the case for investigation.
