JAMMU: Police on Wednesday arrested two snatchers and recovered mobile from their possession.
According to a report, On 14th January 2016, a written complaint was lodged by Arjun son of Bhavani Din resident of Chatterpur MP that two unknown persons on scooty snatched his mobile phone from him forcefully and ran away.
On this a case vide FIR NO 4/2016 under section 382 RPC was registered at Police Station Channi. During course of investigation both the mobile snatchers identified as Vivek Kumar son of Bodh Raj resident of Sec 2 Channi and Arjun Kumar son of Krishan Lal resident of Sec 4 Channi Himmat Jammu were arrested and scooty (JK02BK 1163) used in the commission of offence along with snatched mobile seized on the disclosure of accused person. The arrest has been made by inspector Sajad Haider SHO Channi under the supervision of SDPO City East Mohd Rafiq Manhas and SP City South Shahzad Salaria under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
