SRINAGAR: Baramulla Police arrested two gamblers and recovered stake money over rupees one lakh from the gambling spot.
On a tip off, a police party of Police Station Kunzer raided a gambling place near Lalpora Kunzer and arrested two gamblers identified as Jahangir Ahmad Rather, son of Abdul Rehman and Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Bashir Ahmad, residents of Archandarhama while gambling. Police recovered the stake money of Rs. 1,00,500 from the spot. However, two more gamblers Mehraj-u-Din Malik, resident of Singhpora and Manzoor Ahmad Rather, resident of Lalpora managed to escape.
Kunzar police after registering a case launched the manhunt to nab other two gamblers.
