Srinagar: Two suspected drug peddlers were on Tuesday arrested and one kg of charas was seized from them in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
A police party intercepted a cab during vehicle checking at Bijbehara, 42 kms from here on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, and recovered one kilogram of charas, a police spokesman said.
Two persons identified as Mohammad Iqbal Hajam and Mohammad Sultan Lohar, residents of Gool Gulkabgarh in Jammu region, who were boarding the vehicle were taken into custody, he said.
