KATRA: Two doctors were fined Rs 1,000 while six other health officials were imposed fine of Rs 500 each for not having proper dress code by Chief Medical Officer Reasi-Dr Parminder Singh during surprise visit at Community Health Center Katra.
CMO asked the medical staff to display their identity cards properly and maintain proper dress code during the duty hours.
CMO also directed Block Medical Officer Katra upon the segregation of the biomedical waste as per the norms laid down in the Biomedical Waste (Management and Handling) Rules and to keep the waste baskets in every area where the waste is generated.
