KATHUA: An unidentified decomposed body of a female which was packed in a trunk was found from a canal at Village Pathwal Dyalachak under the jurisdiction of Police Station Hira Nagar.
Police team led by SHO Hira Nagar Naveen Angral shifted the body to CHC Hira Nagar where a team of doctors conducted the autopsy. Since, the aforesaid CHC lacked the facility to preserve decomposed bodies, the body was shifted to mortuary of GMC Jammu for identification.
Meanwhile, one unknown male aged about 60 to 65 years fell down from a move train during the intervening night of 28th – 29th June at KM 54.7/8 Railway Station Ghagwal. The dead body of the deceased was shifted to CHC Hiranagar for postmortem.
