UDHAMPUR: In two separate suicide bids one housewife, a youth attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance in their respective house in Udhampur on Tuesday.
According to a report, a housewife identified as 27 years Seema Devi wife of Shanti Dubey resident of Talab Sallain locality Udhampur took some poisonous substance in her house to end her life. However her family members on seeing her lying unconscious, shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur.
In another suicide bid, a 22 years youth identified as Joginder Singh son of Jagdev Singh resident of village Pathi in Udhampur took poison substance. Victim was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Doctors on seeing condition of both victims as serious further referred them to GMC Jammu. Udhampur Police has registered the cases and launched the investigation.
