KATRA: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons and recovered 180 pouches of liquor from their possession.
According to a report, during the intervening night of 19th-20th December 2016 while checking at Police Check Post Serli two persons namely Rajjat Kumar son of Ramesh Kumar and Sheet Kumar son of Hans Raj both residents of village Paroh Tehsil Katra District Reasi travelling in a Maruti Car No.JK02AE 3954 towards Katra were stopped for checking and during checking/frisking, the police recovered 180 pouches of J and K Excise liquor from their possession. The accused persons have been arrested and a case vide FIR No. 220/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC was registered at Police Station Katra.
