JAMMU: Police on Thursday arrested two notorious criminals wanted in separate cases registered in various police stations across State.
As per the report, a notorious criminal namely Dilbag Singh, son of Janak Singh, resident of Simbal Camp, who was wanted in case vide FIR No. 28/2016 under Section 458, 449, 504, 506 and 34 RPC and 3/25 and 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Miran Sahib was arrested and a sharp edged weapon (Dhah) was recovered from his possession. He was involved in number of attempt to murder cases.
Meanwhile, a notorious absconder namely Abdul Majid alias Babbal, son of Mohammad Hanief, resident of Maralian Miran Sahib was arrested on Thursday. He was wanted at Police Station Miran Sahib in case vide FIR No. 42/2016 under Sections 341, 353, 147, 148, 149, 336 and 427 RPC.
Besides being absconder at Police Stations Pir Mitha, Nagrota and Jammu, he was also an absconder under Section 512 Cr.PC of Police Station Banihal.
