JAMMU: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) celebrated the 126th Birth Anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan, the first Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir State and Chief Justice of India, at a function organized here on Friday.
The programme was organised under the chairmanship of Vinod Kr. Gupta, President JCMS. Vinod Gupta highlighted the contributions of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan towards the nation. Among other prominent Mahajan dignitaries Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East, I.C Jandial, Jugal Mahajan, Rattan Lal Gupta (Ex MLC), Prem Gupta (Retd. IGP), Rajinder Gupta SSP Railway, Varender Gupta (Retd. Secretary), K.B Jandial, Amar Chand Gupta and Dr. Madan Gopal graced the occasion.
Rattan Hindu, Ram Charan Gupta, Ved Parkash, Pawan Gupta, Sunita Gupta, Darshan Gupta, S.P Langer, Krishan Lal Gupta, Chander Sheikher Gupta, Natha Ram, Om Parkash Gupta, S.K Gupta, Krishan Gupta, Apali Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Satish Gupta and Vijay Gupta were also present.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) and Shri Ram Sena (SRS) Jammu and Kashmir also celebrated 126th Birth Anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan.
