Jammu: A five-days trekking camp organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Jourian under the supervision of Umakant ZPEO Jourian and teachers from selected schools, concluded on Sunday.
Total 60 boys were selected for trekking and were taken to Patnitop which is situated on hilltop and is a tourist location in Udhampur district.
Students visited Nathatop, Naag Mandir, Billoo Ki Powri, Madhatop, Shiva Ghar, Kud and many more.
Dr. Ashwani Bali, Activity Incharge Zone Jourian told students about the importance of trekking and precautions which everyone have to follow while ongoing camp.
Teachers also briefed them about the main objective behind trekking.
The students were happy and really enjoyed at camp. ZPEO Jourian addressed the students and congratulated them to be thankful for wonderful teachers who select the really mind blowing and greenery place for trekking.
They added that in this pandemic this natural environment really helps the children to cope up with this stressful situation. ZPEO also appreciated the cultural activities which students voluntary perform to make trip more valuable and memorable.
Parveen Kumar, Darshan Kumar, Devinder Singh Chib, Ashwani Kumar, Jatinder Singh, Sandeep Singh were also present.
