RAJOURI: Terming 100 days achievements of coalition Govt as historic, Member Legislative Council and State Vice President of BJP Advocate Vibodh Gupta has said that government has closed transfer industry and State is approaching towards transparency and accountability which is top agenda of PDP-BJP Government.
Addressing party workers, officers and local public of Kotranka area of Budhal on Friday, Advocate Gupta said that 100 days achievements of Coalition Government in the State of J and K has shut the mouth of those who were waiting for some opportunity to grill the government. He said that all the sectors have shown good performance but biggest achievement is to close transfer industry adding that transferring an officer or official was an expensive matter and officers had to spend lakhs of rupees for each transfer but now every department has adopted a clear cut policy on transfers and an official is spending not even a penny to get transfers done. He said that this is first step towards bringing transparency and accountability in the system because transfers had become profit agency in the State.
Advising all responsible leaders to work for strengthening coalition. Gupta said that Coalition Government is running smoothly but there is need to strengthen it more. “We must abstain from issuing statements against each other”, Gupta said that PDP and BJP leaders must avoid confronting words while issuing statements.
On the occasion, Gupta said that some people do not want to see coalition running in best speed on development. He said that is why these people mislead some people against the government and try to create unrest and added that these people are working against development, peace and prosperity and they should abstain from this practice.
Meanwhile Gupta appreciated officers but pressed upon them to help the people in resolving their problems. Earlier Gupta was welcomed warmly by the people. He was garlanded by the party workers and various demands were presented before him.
