12 passengers have been killed and 44 others injured in a train accident at Gorakhpur. Ministry of Railways – India D.V. Sadananda Gowda has expressed profound grief over the loss of innocent lives. He has announced enhanced ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh for dead, Rs. 1 lakh for grievous injured and Rs. 20,000 for simple injuries for accident.
