POONCH: The Traffic Police team headed by Dy SP Madan Lal Sharma laid number of traffic Nakas in district Poonch and Challaned 40 vehicles. He also seized five tractors which were plying without valid documents.
The Dy SP Traffic Rajouri – Poonch Range made it clear to the vehicle operators that driving vehicles without license or other valid documents is an invitation to big tragedies. He asked the vehicle operator to be wise enough to save his life and that of passengers.
He further said that the majority of the accidents are due to the negligence on the part of drivers who do not observe the traffic norms strictly. He asked the drivers to avoid overloading, over speeding, using mobile while driving, etc.
