The brave performance of the two girls from Rohtak, who lashed out at eve-teasers inside a moving bus, is to be lauded. It also offers a suggestion as to how young girls should be dressed. In this case, it was the leather belts which proved to be handy.
Girls can accessorise their clothes with sharp metal nails, particularly when they use public transport. The nails will leave scar marks on the body of the assailants, which will greatly help in their identification as well.
Also, technology can be used to fight crimes against women. For example, the lady, who could not physically assist the girls, helped them by making a video of the scuffle on her mobile phone.
