JAMMU: Toddler’s World-A Unit of JK Public School, Kunjwani, hosted its Annual Day celebration based on the theme, “Life and Legacy of Shivaji” to honour the extraordinary life of the legendary Indian king and the freedom fighter, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The event celebrated Shivaji Maharaj’s enduring legacy of leadership, patriotism, and inspiration.
The Chief Guest for the occasion Priya Sethi, former Minister of State for Information, Education and Culture, Jammu & Kashmir, was welcomed with heartfelt applause and floral tributes.

The event also witnessed the gracious presence of Patron Davinder Daluja and Neelam Daluja, Chairman Raj Daluja, Members of Management Sidharth Daluja, Sara Daluja and Gautam Daluja, Director Shashi Chaudhary, Principal Rajesh Rathore and other esteemed dignitaries.
The event commenced with the reverent lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a profound gesture symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of wisdom and enlightenment.
This marked the beginning of a grand celebration dedicated to the 394th birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The program brought to life the extraordinary legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through a series of captivating performances and activities.
Enthralling skits, melodious musical renditions, and dynamic dance performances inspired by Marathi folklore vividly portrayed Shivaji’s indomitable valor, visionary leadership, and remarkable journey.
Students eloquently presented Shivaji’s profound quotes and teachings, emphasizing their timeless significance and relevance in today’s world. Adding to the celebration, a vibrant parade was organized, radiating the spirit of unity and determination that defined Shivaji’s illustrious reign.
A special exhibition offered a glimpse into Shivaji’s remarkable conquests, groundbreaking administrative reforms, and visionary governance, left the audience inspired by his enduring contributions.
The little toddler’s with their remarkable performance shed light on Shivaji’s pivotal role in Indian heritage and his influence on the nation’s ethos.
The Students of class 1 were felicitated for their academic achievements and 100% attendance for the academic year 2023-24.
The Chief Guest Priya Sethi in her address, said “The entire programme was an uplifting celebration of talent and teamwork. The choreography, vibrant costumes, and flawless execution brought each segment to life, inspiring everyone present”.
“The flawlessness of the programme didn’t give us the feel that we were watching Toddlers perform on the stage. Children looked very confident with polished diction and they filled everyone in the audience with admiration. The complete credit goes to the visionary management & dedicated teachers”, she added.
“I wish each student a very bright future. Heartiest congratulations to all the parents for being so supportive and for embarking on this journey, exhibiting great coordination with the school. The program concluded on a high note with a heartfelt vote of thanks by a toddler, expressing profound gratitude to the dignitaries, dedicated staff, talented students, and supportive parents who contributed to the success of the event.
The celebration reached its pinnacle with the rendition of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervor and leaving the audience inspired and united in the spirit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s enduring legacy.
