Toddlers’ World of JKPS Kunjwani celebrates Diwali with gaiety

JAMMU: Diwali is the festival of lights which signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. To sensitize students about this most important festival, Toddlers’ World celebrated Diwali on Friday with pomp and gaiety.
The students from pre primary to class 2 participated enthusiastically in the celebration.
The tiny tots dressed up as Bhagwan Rama, Sita, Hanuman and so many characters of Ramayana. All the characters were presented beautifully by lovely kids. Children recited hymns, Shaloks, songs about Shri Ram.
Most captivating was the mono acting of Bhagwan Rama rendered rather beautifully by students. The celebration filled the atmosphere with the spirit of devotion and love for Bhagwan Rama.
Children were told about the significance of the festival by their teachers. Children decorated Diyas with colours and glitters.
Shivangani Pandotra (Coordinator Toddlers’ World) appreciated the efforts of students and parents. She said celebrations like this elaborated the significance of day and sensitize the students about virtues that needed to be followed in our daily life.
