JAMMU: Scouts and Guides students of Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School Roop Nagar participated in adventurous trekking in Bahu Fort with full zeal and enthusiasm. They took part in activities including rope way, rock climbing, mountain pass, hide and seek and river crossing. Children were made to learn the basic skills required to perform the tasks perfectly.
They also learnt to light fire, cook food and distributed it among poor and needy. In this way, they learnt the values of kindness and humanity. Besides physical activities, cleanliness drive was also initiated under Prime Minister’s mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Principal of the School, Deepali Handa said physical activities are very important and go hand in hand with academics.
They inculcate in them a sense of physical , mental and social well being. Students were given training by the efficient team of JK Bharat Scouts and Guides along with the Physical Instructor, Bandana.
