‘Thrills and spills’ of Teachers’ Day celebration at JKPS Panjtirthi

JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi wore an air of festivity and Merry making on the celebration of Teachers’ Day. Music, fun and laughter seemed to pervade the air. Teachers’ Day was celebrated at JKPS Panjtirthi to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan with incredible gusto and zeal. The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah addressed the teachers and gave them a talk about the desired personality traits of a teacher, impact of a disciplined teacher on a child, tips for Time management, benefits of punctuality , tips for flawless teaching and perfect copy corrections”. She said, “I believe that the A motivated staff is more productive, more efficient.” She further said, “The field of education is ever evolving, and so are the expectations and demands on educators, as they are responsible for shaping a child’s future, which goes far beyond just imparting knowledge. Evaluating the teachers is the basis of determining the competency of teachers and is done to promote their professional enhancement and better teaching which ultimately raise the standard and quality of education.” On the occasion, the Principal reviewed and analysed the performance of each staff member of JKPS Panjtirthi discreetly about their qualities, traits, talents and achievement, weak aspects and improvement areas . She further wished Happy teachers to one and all and remarked “I am proud to be associated with the group of teachers who are determined, disciplined and hard working.” To give teachers their well-deserved credit & recognition and appreciation, The Principal herself honoured the best teachers of the year and felicitated them with cash prizes and beautiful gifts. The Teachers entertained the audience through Role plays, English song singing, dance performances, inspiring recitations, and many more performances. An exciting game for the teachers was organised and the winners were awarded.
