DODA: Police on Thursday arrested three thieves and recovered 26 bundles of conductor (aluminum wire) from their possession.
According to a report, during intervening night of 15th -16th March 2017, a police party of Police Post Pul Doda lead by SI Amrit Katoch along with HC Naresh Kumar and Const. Showket Ali laid a Naka at Chinar Morh Pul Doda. During checking of TATA Mobile (JK06-3598), 26 bundles of conductor (aluminum wire) were recovered and three thieves were arrested. The thieves were identified as Irshad Ahmed son of Mohd Sharief resident of Garsoo Tehsil Doda, Sunil Kumar son of Tirath Ram resident of Bhadra Tehsil Doda and Showket Ali son of Mohd Iqbal resident of Garsoo Tehsil Doda. A case vide FIR No 08/2017 under section 379 RPC was registered at Police Station Doda.
