JAMMU: District Police Jammu continue its zero tolerance policy against drugs abuse arrested three Orissa-based narcotic smugglers in Domana area of Jammu district and seized 15 Kg narcotics (Ganja) A police team of Police Station Domana led by SHO Police Station Domana Insp. Arun Sharma, Assisted by PSI Younis Khanday while on patrolling duty at Muthi area rounded up three suspects later identified as Rakesh Mallick, son of Puran Chandra Mallick, resident of Ragajuda, Police Station Tikabal District Kandhamal, Orrisa; Sibasana Kanhar, son of Kanhar, resident of Rangamatia, Police Station Chakabad District Kandhamal Orrisa and Dayanidhi Naik, son of Bharat Naik, resident of Pochalundi, Police Station Tarshing District Ganjal Orrisa. On their personal search, 5 Kgs of ganja was recovered from each of them and total 15 kgs.In this regard a case FIR no. 48/2024 under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Domana and accused were arrested. The whole operation is done under the close supervision of SDPO Domana Mudasir Hussain and SP Rural Brijesh Sharma.
