Three held for fraudulently withdrawing money from ATM

VIJAYPUR: In a major break-through Vijaypur Police worked out a cheating case of withdrawal of money fraudulently from the SBI Bank account of Kuldeep Raj of Chack Salaria Tehsil Ramgarh District Samba.
While giving details, it came to fore that on 8th August 2016 on the written complaint of one Ankush Sharma son of Kuldeep Raj resident of Chack Salaria Tehsil Ramgarh, District Samba stating therein that after he withdrew Rs.800 from the ATM of State Bank opposite Railway Road Vijaypur on 6th July 2016 while additional amount of Rs. 21,800 has been withdrawn from his bank account without his knowledge. On this a case vide FIR No.100/2016 under section 420/379/34/ RPC was registered at Police Station Vijaypur and the investigation was vigorously taken up.
During investigation of the case three suspects namely Dharminder Kumar son of Jantri Prasad resident of village Madar Binduwalia, Tehsil Padona, District Khushi Nagar (UP), Dharminder Singh son of Gurdeep Singh resident of W.No.13, Patel Nagar, Kathua and Narender Kumar son of Chatru Ram resident of W.No.14 Nag Nagar Kathua were arrested and after sustained interrogation they broke up and admitted the commission of offence. The stolen cash to the tune of Rs.17,000 was also recovered from the accused person. The trio was also found to be involved in a similar offence in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal were case vide FIR No.66/2016 under section 420/379/RPC stands registered and the further investigation of the same is going on.
